About	Dr. Merrick D. Elias is a board certified dermatologist and a clinical assistant professor at the College of Osteopathic Medicine, Nova Southeastern University, Ft. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He then completed his Internship at Palmetto General Hospital in Hialeah, Florida. He specializes in adult, pediatric, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Elias studied extensively in Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery during his residency at the North Broward Hospital District / Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Elias is passionate about raising awareness of skin cancer and sun protection. He regularly volunteers for community skin cancer screenings. Dr. Elias often teaches and has written several scholarly articles. The two newer therapies he offers for body sculpting are Cellfina ® and Ultherapy ®.
