She has published over 20 journal articles. Dr. Fu earned her Ph.D. in chemistry and was a postdoctoral fellow at the National Institutes of Health at Dartmouth College, Utah University, and Cornell University. She worked at Proctor & Gamble as a group leader in skincare and drug-related science. She received her medical degree and completed her residency in dermatology at the University of Cincinnati.
