| About | St. Stephen Church was founded in 1925. It's one of Worship's most prominent black churches in Louisville. The church has 10,000 members and was listed as one of America's top 100 largest churches in 2005 by Outreach Magazine. St. Stephen Church is the body of Christian believers committed in covenant to worship God and share the Gospel with unbelievers. The new building was built at the location where the original St. Stephen Baptist Church building. They have made an ongoing economic investment in one of the poorest neighborhoods in the nation. With the expansion of their online worship services and programming, St. Stephen's e-campus grew to include members who live in other states such as Connecticut, Georgia, Ohio, and Florida. |
