| About | Saint Mark Catholic Church in the diocese of El Paso has grown into one of the biggest and youngest congregations. It has more than 2,500 families and nearly 4,000 children in the religious education system. Saint Mark Catholic Church started to mission around the neighborhood, welcoming the group to the Sunday mass that was first held in the rectory's living room and the elementary school Benito Martinez. The parish grew quickly and was able to raise funds for the construction of the multipurpose building, which was completed in July 1996 and blessed by Bishop Ochoa. Saint Mark Catholic Church's multifunctional building housed the offices, classrooms, and hall that served as the temporary refuge as the neighborhood developed alongside El Paso's growing eastside. |
