About	Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception serves as the mother church for the growing religious group of nearly 500,000 Catholics, distributed across northern Colorado in 144 parishes and Missions. The church has more than 700 households; the cathedral parish is a spiritual sanctuary. The windows are considered amongst the world's most beautiful. There are 75 windows of every religion in America, more than any other Church. Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception offers a study of the Bible, sports clubs, pilgrimages, and social events on Sunday night. The cornerstone was laid in 1906, and Father Mac was appointed rector of the Cathedral on July 26, 1908. Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception choir sings both modern hymns provided in the form of refrain/antiphon and contemporary Catholic classical songs ministries of liturgy available in the Cathedral.
