About	Peony Palace is a little hidden gem in Elk Grove is a must-stop if you like Chinese cuisine or Mongolian. The atmosphere is so laid-back it makes you feel warm and invited. They have tape on the floor for social distancing, gloves at the prep station, and everything is minimal contact, which is excellent. The food comes out very fast compared to other Chinese restaurants, and there is a lot more to even their basic dishes than compared to almost all the different Chinese cuisines. They have an excellent selection of traditional dishes and including Mongolian BBQ. Their Mu-Shu Chicken includes Sliced chicken, shredded cabbage, tender-crisp bean sprouts, bamboo, black mushrooms, and egg in a brown sauce, wrapped in thin rice paper. The buffet starts with meat options (chicken, beef, lamb, and pork) and noodles.
