About	Dr. Bashar A. Shala is a founding physician of Memphis Cardiovascular Center. He finished his internal medicine residency at the University of Tennessee in Memphis. Dr. Bashar has over 32 years of experience in the field of cardiology. He is board-certified in cardiovascular disease, interventional & nuclear cardiology, echocardiography, and cardiovascular computed tomography. His commitment is to achieving excellence in cardiovascular care through state-of-the-art medical technology coupled with providing compassionate, personal, and detailed attention to every patient’s needs. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC), the American Society of Echocardiography (FASE), the American Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (FSCAI), and the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology (FASNC).
