About	Dr. Zaki Lababidi is the founder of Gilbert Cardiology. He is board-certified in cardiovascular disease. He has completed his internal medicine residency at Mercy Hospital and Medical Center in Chicago. Dr. Zaki Lababidi finished his interventional cardiology fellowship at the Arizona Heart Institute in Phoenix. He specializes in the treatment of patients with congestive heart failure, heart attack, coronary artery disease, abnormal heart rhythms, and peripheral arterial disease. He actively participates in the educational preparation of medical students. His research work has been published in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology Intervention, among others. Dr. Zaki Lababidi has served in administrative capacities as the director of the department of cardiology at Roseland Community Hospital in Chicago. He is a member of the Arizona Medical Association and the American Society of Echocardiography.
