About	Peters' Bakery is a San Jose institution. Peters' Bakery is a Basic counter-serve bake shop known for its burnt almond cake, plus a variety of cookies & pastries. Tony Peters is the owner who learned the business at his Uncle's shop on Saturdays. Tony launched Peters' Bakery at Delmas and San Carlos Streets in 1936. Tony Peters instructed more than 100 bakers, many of whom built their bakeries. He had a phenomenal retention rate for employees, all of whom called him simply Boss. Peters Bakery is now owned and operated by two of Tony's grandchildren, and it is the oldest family-owned Bakery in Silicon Valley. Their chefs always use only the best quality ingredients for their products. Must try their delicious and unique Burnt Almond Cake and German Chocolate Cake.
