About	Gioacchino Vaccaro founded Vaccaro’s Italian Pastry Shop in 1956. Vaccaro's serves famous desserts, coffees, panini, mufalato and salads. He was born and bred in Palermo, Italy. Today Nick Vaccaro continues the family tradition started by his father with the same Old World recipes brought over from Italy. They aim to serve you the most delicious and authentic Italian pastries. Traditional Italian Ice Cream is available in different flavors. Vaccaro also offers 34 different types of Italian Cookies. Vaccaro's has developed to include the new Pasticceria, which offers both carryout and a sit-down bakery to enjoy, a state-of-the-art production facility, and a warehouse. Happy hour specials and vegan options are available at Vaccaro's. They proudly serve Greater Baltimore for over 60 years, accessible nationally through their shipping center.
