About	Pyrenees French Bakery, first named Kern City French Bakery, was established in 1887 under the founder of Marius M. Espitallier. Across the early 1900s, Marcel Reynaud, Joseph Gueydan, and Augustine Amour bought the Pyrenees bakery at Kern City. Pyrenees' new building was constructed in 1912, and the previous building under its new proprietor, Joseph Espitallier, became the Hotel Des Alpes. They serve most of the major eateries and grocery stores in the area. Their team also continues to ship bakery items across the States to those who enjoy its distinct flavor. They have a wide variety of bread, from sourdough loaves to sliced wheat bread. They always use the finest and freshest ingredients without the use of chemical preservatives in their bakery items.
