About | Butcher and The Rye's owner and chef were Richard DeShantz. It is the first Pittsburgh bar to be decided for a "James Beard Foundation Award for Outstanding Bar Program" for two consecutive years. The two-story restaurant is a goal for its excellent whiskey selection and original menu, which offers modern riffs on rustic American dishes. Its indoor has tattoo-inspired murals adorn the tables and seats, the entry displays vintage knives and axes, and the antique doorknobs are made as purse hooks at the bar. The restaurant bar has three design and locally-sourced beers on tap, 12 cocktails on design, 30+ wines, and 15+ highlighted cocktails. Richard DeShantz, every dishes are to produce a unique experience that pays homage to the natural Americana. Their experienced team of bartenders and mixologists have an arsenal of various cocktails, including many of their custom universes. |
