| About | Marlipins Museum is a fantastic museum of natural heritage and archaeology reveals the prehistoric story of Shoreham's maritime and marine history. The museum holds the 12th-century building, both a listed building and a scheduled monument, is next to the sea. In between 1167 and 1197 the northern wall was built, and later it was removed and replaced with a new wall in the 15th century. In the 15th century, maintenance and restoration were then carried out to the roof, and new interior timbers were built in the 16th century.
