| About | Blists Hill Victorian Town is an open-air museum located in Telford. The museum is managed by Ironbridge Geoge museum trust. It seeks to recreate looks, sounds and smells of a Victorian Shropshire town in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Its buildings fall into one of three categories. One or more costumed demonstrators are working in each building who have been trained in the knowledge and history of the profession they re-enact. Staff can also be seen conducting activities such as running stationary steam engines, iron base, and pigs mucking out. |
