| About | Trentham Estate is a visitor attraction located on the southern fringe of the city of Stoke-on-Trent. The garden is a formal Italianate garden, and it is a part of an English landscape park. The garden occupies 300 acres with a wide area of woodland. Brown planned the gardens as a serpentine park. Trentham Gardens is now mostly known for the preserved formal gardens set out by Sir Charles Barry in the 1840s, which were recently restored. It has gone through a successful and significant £ 120 million redevelopment of St. Modwen Properties as a leisure destination. The garden offers free admission for children (Under 5). |
