About | Ordsall Hall is the place of a historical house dating back for more than 820 years. It has been placed in the hall for many uses as a family house, working men's club, and church. A most significant time of life was as the family seat of the Radclyffe family, who lived in the house for more than 300 years. The building was acquired in 1959 by the former Salford Council and introduced to the public as a period house and a local history museum in 1972. Ordsall Hall is the grade II building. The hall also provides rooms and display spaces with landscaped gardens, a shop and a light refreshment cafe. It offers free admission. |
