| About | North Lanarkshire Heritage Centre provides visitors with various facilities and programs for an enjoyable day out or an educational day. The centre is used as the main repository for archives and current documents of North Lanarkshire. Its six-level tower has been excitingly redeveloped into a permanent exhibition space where you can discover the past of the Motherwell region from prehistory to the present. There is also a gallery space, placed on the ground floor, displaying North Lanarkshire Council exhibits and exhibitions beyond the local council's field. North Lanarkshire Heritage Centre provides a gift shop that sells a variety of local history books and pieces typical of a museum/heritage centre gift shop. |
