| About | V&A Dundee presents the brilliance of Scottish creativity and the best in architecture from across the globe as an international design museum. It is also the first Kengo Kuma-designed building in the United Kingdom. It was opened to the public in 2018. The opening was celebrated with a 3D festival including performances such as Primal Scream, Be Charlotte, and Lewis Capaldi, including a light show and a series of fireworks. V&A Dundee reached its goal of 500,000 visitors within a year on 30 March 2019, six months earlier than expected. The temporary exhibitions are placed in the exhibition galleries. |
