| About | Englesea Brook Chapel & Museum is one of the earliest chapels of the Primitive Methodist movement, and in 1914 the Sunday school was added. It was established as a museum in 1986. The museum is dedicated to the history of Primitive Methodism. It contains movement-related objects and arranges an evolving programme of exhibits and other activities. The museum is also featured with a tea room and a shop, and there is a changing programme of exhibitions. The collections are displayed in a theme such as Primitive Methodists' promotion of temperance the experiences of the First World War conscientious objectors. Englesea Brook Chapel & Museum provides toys, gifts and books. Visitors can explore the museum with free admission. |
