| About | Kingsmead Day Nursery was opened by Mrs Helen Gaskell in 1989 with 11 children on the register, in a large Victorian house the other side of the city. Over the years, the nursery has developed to accommodate young babies right through to preparing children for school. Kingsmead Day Nursery has cared for thousands of children over its 31 years, and they are now welcoming the children of children who attended the nursery in those early days. Kingsmead Day Nursery takes great pride in the high standard of care they provide to all children who attend Kingsmead. Their aim now as it was 27 years ago is to nurture and support children in all areas of learning, and prepare them well for their futures. They are committed to achieving the best results for the children who attend Kingsmead and work closely with parents or carers and outside agencies if required. |
