| About | Worthing Pier is a public pleasure opened to the public in 1862. Initially, the Pier is nine-hundred and sixty feet long and fifteen meters wide. Later in 1888, it was reconstructed and increased the width and length. Worthing Pier is a grade II building. The pier is owned by Worthing Borough Council. More than 90,000 guests were welcomed into the Pavilion and participated in numerous activities ranging from award ceremonies to weddings were arranged. It also provides fishing as a daily draw for people. Fishing on the pier is free of charge. Visitors to Worthing Pier can enjoy an ice cream while relaxing in the deckchairs. |
