| About | Fort Perch Rock has been home to several permanent maritime and air museum exhibits and regular presentations for visitors and cultural events since 1829. Their Fort and museums are located at the end of the Marine Promenade New Brighton. The Fort was built out of red sandstone blocks on a base of sandstone rocks, confusingly known as the Black Rocks. A Cafe and Toilets are available for visitors on site. They provide free parking in the parking lot also. You can enjoy walking around the villages. The Curator is also available to give talks about the Fort and its related history to external clubs and groups etc., by special request. |
