| About | Southchurch Hall is one of the best tourist attraction places in Southend-On-Sea, UK. It is a Grade I Listed Medieval moated house located in the Southchurch district of Southend-on-Sea. The Hall was home to farming families until the 1920s. In 1930, it was extensively renovated and presented to the town of Southend by the Dowsett Family. In the 1930s extension to the Hall, there is a presentation of artefacts discovered during archaeological investigations of the site. The Hall has been recorded in Jenkins' top 1000 houses in England. Beverages are available in the exhibition room at the Southchurch Hall.
