| About | The Archbishop's Palace is a medieval archbishop's residence in Maidstone. The palace was designed in the late 14th century. The palace features The Infirmarer's Garden, Grove and box-edged parterre. The Infirmarer's Garden was recreated in the walled garden in 1994. It features a tunnel arbour and beds of herbs that would have been used in medieval times. The building is today principally used as a venue for wedding services. Maidstone is lucky to have such a stunning location for the registry office, and the staff are lovely and accommodating. |
