| About | ' Insole Court ' is one of the famous mansion houses in Cardiff. Insole Court is an impressive historic mansion and gardens with a fascinating history, and it is a 160-year-old house. The mansion is now ongoing restoration and has come back to life. "This House is a Stage", an exhibition that brings local history to life in the form of a dramatic version of the rise and the fall of the Insole Family, who built and inhabited the mansion. Their formerly derelict Stable Yard is now used as a vibrant hub, hosting community, corporate and private functions and serving freshly baked cakes, brunch and lunch seven days a week. There is free access to Vaughan Avenue with pedestrian entrances. Visitors can also visit the ground floor of the mansion and the ornamental gardens free of charge. |
