| About | Maki & Ramen is a snug Japanese noodle bar for classic soups, sushi and grilled meat in a modern, wood-furnished area. It is a small and cosy restaurant with quirky decorations and a good atmosphere. The staff here are amicable and accommodating. The chicken yakatori heats up with a good shot of chilli and pairs nicely with sticky rice and crunchy broccoli on the side. Alternatively, give the chef's 'burnt soya' a whirl: a deeply tasty, generous bowl of Ramen with all sorts of side dishes crammed into the bowl. You can start your meal with maki, a green dragon roll filled with shrimp tempura and avocado, which is beautifully presented and deliciously fresh. Miso Ramen includes miso broth served with lightly roasted salmon sashimi, half-boiled egg and greens. Traditional Japanese Tonkotsu Ramen contains pork bone broth served with marinated belly pork, half-boiled egg and greens. You can BOB, which makes a huge difference in cost. |
