About	Elton Furze Golf Club has one of the best 18 Hole Golf Courses in Peterborough, UK. It is ideally suited to all levels of golfers. Elton Furze takes its name from the prickly green bush with yellow flowers, which grows abundantly in their ancient woodland around the course. They are just a few miles west of Peterborough City Centre, within easy reach of the A1 and neighbouring town Oundle. Their 18 holes are designed as two loops of 9 and play in around 20 acres of mature forest. Elton Furze offers an attractive setting and a course to challenge all levels of golfer. The 7th hole requires excellent skill and judgement to avoid a range of obstacles, including ditches, bunkers and a slanting tree across the fairway.
