About	Happy Planet is a studio gallery, social enterprise gift shop and gallery that provides a unique and original shopping experience run by award-winning local artist and entrepreneur Gail Curry. The shop is eco-friendly, has always been plastic-free from opening in 2014 and also stocks items made from recycled materials. Together with 24 other artists and makers, Happy Planet offers a wide range of original gifts to suit all budgets with an ever-changing stock that includes a range of cards, jewellery, felt creations, craft kits, candles, soaps, glass, ceramics, original art, and mobiles. Situated just a short walk from the south end of Park View in Whitley Bay, it is perhaps the town best-kept secret. Gift vouchers are available. Customers often comment on the oasis of calm and happiness, you might enter as a customer but you leave as a friend.
