About	Shaws Fish & Chips is a family-run and Yorkshire English Fish & Chips in Barnsley city. They always maintain the food quality and have over 30 years of experience in the chippy industry. Shaws Fish & Chips restaurant has received several certificates from the Food Standards Agency for hygiene. They buy the highest-quality Cod from the clean arctic waters around Iceland, Greenland and Norway that is MSC certified as sustainably managed. Their large Haddock is from Norway and line caught and skinless. Their potatoes are brought whenever possible from local farms. Every morning they make and cut around 20 stones of cod for that day and make around half of a tonne of potatoes, and they hand check everyone. Their pies are handmade. Shaws' Breaded Fishcake comprises mashed potato, cod, herbs and a touch of salt and pepper in a breadcrumb coating. Try their Cod & Chips Box, which is served with regular Chips, a choice of sides and a cold can.
