| About | M.A.D., is stand by The Merone Academy for Dogs. MAD Dog Club is a dog training club based in Southport, offering training classes for all ages and all breeds. It is a family run business, and they only use kind and non-aversive training methods. The MAD was opened in 2006 by Maureen and Malcolm Merone. Both Maureen and Malcolm have a lifetime of experience with dogs specialising in Border Collies. Their experience stems not just from over 70 years of pet dog ownership but from various working capacities too. From competitive obedience training and competing, they were working sheepdog training and trials, dog and duck demonstrations and now training and competing in agility. They are proud to be members of the pet professional guild. They keep up to date with all the most advanced training theories and practice from worldwide. |
