About	Karen Shiel School of Dance is a professional and dedicated dance school, established in a small church hall with just a handful of pupils in 1998. Now they have grown and expanded and now have their three-studio dance centre in Shiney Row. They provide a wide array of dance subjects to suit all, from beginners to professional dancers. Karen Shiel School of Dance is proud to be associated with British Theatre Dance Association, ID-Company, Acrobatic Arts and Progressing Ballet Technique. The team of highly qualified and experienced masters offer their students the opportunity to gain recognised graded qualifications, perform in professional theatre shows, and participate in local and national competitions. They love that their students and parents call them their "dance family" as every one of the past and present is special and unique. The team aims to allow and support every dancer to fulfil their potential and reach their own goals.
