About	Leeds Cathedral is one of the famous churches in Leeds. The church is formally the Cathedral Church of St Anne, commonly known as Saint Anne's Cathedral. It is one of the oldest church buildings located in the Leeds community. The original church served the locality in 1878, which was demolished around 1900, and the new building was completed in 1904. The church faced multiple restorations in the mid-1900s, making it one of the region's most celebrated cathedrals. Leeds Cathedral has different ministries and groups to serve the needs of youth, children, men, and women in the community. The old cathedral's high altar was designed by Pugin, which is one of the main attractions in the building. Leeds Cathedral produced an outstanding design in the Arts and Crafts neo-Gothic style with an unusual layout to accommodate the Cathedral’s relatively small city-center site.
