| About | St Martin in the Bullring was established to offer the local community people traditional religious services. It is one of the most ancient and contemporary buildings in the locality. The old church building was outnumbered by the increase in visitors, so a committee was set up in 1873 to demolish the old building and rebuild a bigger building. St Martin in the Bullring was rebuilt and was officially opened for the people to visit and attend the prayers. Through prayer, worship and reading the Bible, they endeavour to find ways to live out their faith in service to those in need and fellowship with those who are part of the community. The church allows guided visits from Wednesday to Friday. There are shops set up to buy the Bible and great refreshments at reasonable prices. St Martin in the Bullring is the original parish church of Birmingham that stands between the Bull Ring shopping centre and the markets. |
