About	'The Old Rectifying House' serves British dishes in a warm and relaxed environment. The restaurant name comes from the fact that the rear of the building was part of the Williams distillery. The main part of the distillery was across the river at the bottom of Tybridge Street. The upstairs bar can be employed on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights as well as on Sunday day and night. 'The Old Rectifying House' offers a kids menu which includes chicken breast, Heinz Beanz on toasted ciabatta, and battered haddock. They have plenty of high chairs and baby-changing facilities.
