| About | Paya Lebar Kovan CommunityCentre is one of the well-established event spaces in Hougang. PLKCC is bringing ease and accessibility for youths to practise and appreciate active citizenry through a range of activities and programmes that cater to the diverse needs of today's children. Through their involvement as volunteers or participants, the PAYM members can interact and exchange experiences with their peers from multi-cultural backgrounds. This provides a holistic learning experience through hands-on opportunities in community involvement, strengthening social bonds and growing a sense of national ownership and belonging. They are members of The People's Association (PA). PA offers a wide range of programmes to cater to Singaporeans, from connecting people to people and government. They do this through their network of 1,800 grassroots organisations (GROs), over 100 Community Clubs, National Community Leadership Institute, five Community Development Councils, and PAssion WaVe. |
