About	Ali Mardan Khan built Chashma Shahi Garden in 1632 while Shah Jahan’s reign, and the king commissioned it for his favourite son Dara Sikoh. The spring is surrounded by a red-walled bardari, a traditional Mughal pavilion. Walk around it to appreciate its simple beauty and enjoy the scenery from this elevated point. Photograph sweeping views of Dal Lake & Srinagar surrounded by the arching Zabarwan Mountains. The locals in the garden believe that spring water in the garden has medicinal values and is good for the skin. The beautiful flower bed, manicured trees and lawns truly contribute to the grand looks of the garden. Chashma Shahi Garden has the facilities of food stalls and Washrooms.
