About	Tomb of Tansen is another prominent tourist destination in Gwalior. It belongs to Ghous Mohammed, an Afghan prince who later became a Sufi saint. He is said to have helped Babar in obtaining the Gwalior Fort. The Tomb of Tansen was built during the reign of the 16th century Mughal Emperor Akbar. It is a real example of Mughal architecture, which tells the great history of the country. The tomb walls have been carved using the pierced stone technique, and several Chattris in Blue tiles cover the Tomb. The detailed carvings and the latticework in the houses are also something to look out for.
