About	Shaheed Ashfaq Ullah Khan, Gorakhpur Zoo, also known as Prani Udyan or Gorakhpur Zoological Garden, is a zoological garden in Gorakhpur. It's near the gorgeous Ramgarh Tal on the Gorakhpur-Deoria bypass road, around 08 km from Gorakhpur Railway/Bus station and about 11 km from the airport. An extra 20 acres (16.5 per cent) of the zoological park has been planted with trees, making the total area of the zoological park around 46.5 per cent covered with trees. The zoological park's administration is also preparing a thorough management plan for each species in order to attain this goal.
