About	Arignar Anna Zoological Park is one of the modern and scientifically managing zoos located in Chennai. The zoo is managed by two hundred and fifty-nine staff and some contract workers. Arignar Anna Zoological Park has more than 2300 animals. It covers about 602 hectares, including a rescue and rehabilitation centre. The zoo has achieved excellence as a dynamic conservation centre of nature by encouraging the Western and Eastern Ghats' breeding program. It welcomes more than 20 lakh tourists from across the nation and from all over the world. Each tourist can enjoy a wild first-hand trip to the safari parks, where it is easy to spot lions and deer.
