About	Kanan Pendari zoological garden is situated 9 K.M. away from Bilaspur.Kanan Pendari zoological garden is 9 kilometres from Bilaspur. This region covers 114 hectares. The area's geography is primarily flat with a mild inclination. In 1975, it served as a forest department nursery. It was converted into a wild animal rescue centre that housed deer, bears, and other creatures. As the centre grew in popularity, it was transformed into a cheetah breeding facility. In 1997, a small zoo with a rescue centre was established. The Bilaspur Forest Division supervised this centre. The centre gradually evolved into a zoo. In 2002, India's central zoological authority decided to recognise Kanan pendari zoological garden Bilaspur as a micro zoo from 2002 to 2008. Kanan pendari was designated as a small zoo by the C.Z.A. in 2008.
