About	Udayagiri and Khandagiri Caves, formerly known as Kattaka Caves or Cuttack Caves, are archaeologically, historically, and religiously significant caves in Bhubaneswar that are partly natural and partially constructed. The Udayagiri hills and caves are protected monuments overseen by the Archaeological Survey of India, and they are one of India's most important archaeological sites. The imagery of Vaishnavism (Vishnu), Shaktism (Durga and Matrikas), and Shaivism may be found in the Udayagiri caves (Shiva). Udayagiri and Khandagiri Caves, popularly known as Cuttack Caves, are Bhuvaneshwar's most popular tourist destinations. Some caves are natural, while the archaeological department artificially constructs others. This draws history buffs as well as young couples.
