About	Shree Mahalakshmi Temple in Mumbai is a very popular temple devoted to Goddess Lakshmi, Durga, and Saraswati. Dhakji Dadaji, a Hindu merchant, built the temple around the 16th and 17th centuries. Shree Mahalakshmi Temple has Goddesses' idols decorated with gold bangles, necklaces of pearls, and rings, with Mahalaxmi occupying the central position. Shree Mahalakshmi Temple is located near the famous Malabar hills that are unique and beautiful, just off the seashore. The most enjoyable times to visit this temple are Diwali and Navratri. At Shree Mahalakshmi Temple, during Chaitra and Ashwin Navaratra, the Sun rays of the rising sun fall on the deities for a few minutes.
