About	Umananda Devaloi is a Shiva temple located at the Umananda Island in the middle of river Brahmaputra just opposite the office of the Deputy Commissioner of Kamrup or the Kachari Ghat in Guwahati. The temple celebrates the Maha Shivratri with great pomp and display. Visitors can take a ferry ride to get to the island and admire this place's highlight. The temple has a variety of rock sculptures, and the site has architectural value as well. The best time to visit the temple is October to February, during the winter months.
