| About | Arulmigu Maruthamalai Murugan Temple is situated on the top of a granite hill at about 600 feet and was built dates back to the 12th century. It is dedicated to Lord Murugan and is considered the Seventh House of Lord Murugan. At Arulmigu Maruthamalai Murugan Temple, Thai Poosam and other Murugan festivals are celebrated. Another tourist attraction is the Pillayar Temple on temple foothills. This temple is impressive since it is in the east's face on the hill compared to other Murugan temples. The temple provides toy cradles with the firm belief that God's Grace is blessed with progeny. The Annadanam (lunch) Area is served every day to devotees. |
