About	Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Park is one of the largest public parks and it was created in 1925 by the Bombay Municipal Corporation, and it is a natural and most significant public park in Mumbai city. This park was initially called Mahim park. It has over 27.907 acres of parkland with a toddler play area, and the floor is soft and childproof. The park has swings, and another ride is arranged as per age groups, with the more significant slides and swings on one side and the smaller ones on the other side. In Mumbai, this park has witnessed both pre-independence and post-independence. The park is 112,937 square metres in area, and the inner circumference of the park is 1.17 kilometres. The park has nets for cricket, a court for tennis, a ground for Mallakhamba, and football. It is now well developed with a modern gym beside a Ganesh temple and a fully resourced children’s park. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Park has a popular hub for political and social meetings.
