| About | Maharaja Fateh Singh Museum houses art objects from the princely Baroda state collected by the late Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III. The European sculptures and paintings contain copies of famous Italian Renaissance masterpieces and original works from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The gallery has the most famous artworks in this museum: the paintings of European and Indian artists. The gallery collects the Raja Ravi Varma paintings. The museum also has an oriental gallery that houses Japanese and Chinese sculptures and other works collected by the Maharaja on his visits to these countries. The gallery has over the globe are involved in organising such exhibition forms to attract visitors. |
