| About | Railway Museum is a railway museum-cum-heritage center for railroad exhibits that share Trichy heritage. The museum, part of the former South Indian Railway, has indoor and outdoor exhibits. The exhibit's indoor piece showed various documents from the period when India was still under British rule. The museum has interesting South Indian railway history memorabilia reminiscent of the mid 19th century. There are two locomotives on display one is a diesel engine, another one is a steam engine. The old loco engine and old motor car are two good things to see in the museum. You can also enjoy taking a ride on a toy train. |
