| About | Napier Museum is one of India's oldest museums for art and natural history. The museum opened in the 19th century and housed excellent 11th to 18th-century collections. The museum has a pretty good selection of an exhibition totalling around 550. With its distinctive ornamentation, this architectural structure stands as a landmark in the town. They hold a range of art and artefacts like sculptures. The museum has an impressive red-shaded building adorned with stained glass windows and four massive watchtowers following a specific pattern of colour. This architectural masterpiece is well-known for its Indo-Saracenic structure, Gothic roofs and minarets. The building's interior architecture is a fascinating mixture of Kerala, Mughal, Chinese & Indian traditional architectural styles. |
