| About | Salar Jung Museum is one of the oldest three Indian National Museums. It is an art museum located on the Musi River's southern bank. Salar Jung Museum has the largest one-man collection of artefacts in the world. The museum conducts special exhibits and seminars collaborating with other museums and international organisations. It has introduced the Audio Guide System for the convenience of the public. Salar Jung Museum is also one of the most comprehensive museums globally, with a vast collection of paintings, sculptures, carvings, and textiles. The museum comprises over 47,000 books, 43,000 pictures, and 9,000 holographs. The Virtual Show Van conducted in the museum adds various themes and ideas to displaying antiques in schools and villages. |
