The museum is dedicated to Shivaji Maharaja Chatrapati and displays collections related to Lord Shivaji. The museum has a prominent feature the 500-year-old shield, an equally ancient traditional Paithani Saree, and a copy of Aurangzeb's Holy Qur'an. They display say tales of the brave king's glorious reign, exhibited in six galleries. You can see the exceptional beauty of forts architecture.
